        How Do I Make a Booking?

            To reserve your place simply visit our Application Form page to make a printable booking form that

            you can partly complete on line, print on your computer then complete by hand and fax or post back

            to us for confirmation.

        How Do I Arrange My Travel Before and After the Tour?

            As we are joined by ladies from all over Australia and occasionally from all over the world, your travel

            before and after our tours is not included in our pricing structure.   This gives you the freedom to choose

            the most appropriate travel options that suit your plans.    All our rendezvous are arranged to be easily

            reached and transfers can be pre-booked through our agency, Jetset Blackburn 124 South Parade,

            Blackburn  3130.  Phone 6139 877 9788.

 

            Australian participants may like to join the tour escort on her flight from Australia if seats are available.   In most cases,

            Faye will depart on the day before official meeting times in Italy.   So if you have not travelled before

            ask Jetset Blackburn to arrange your flights to coincide with the escort flight.  Jetset Blackburn

            will be happy to assist you with all pre and post tour aspects of the Tour.

        Is It Possible to Join More than One Tour?

            The tours are designed to flow into one another i.e.  Start with Rome, go onto Tuscany and finish on

            the Cinque Terre Terre or do only one of the tours.   You choose just what suits you.

        What Will Our Meals be Like?

            First class regional specialities and four star Restaurants are an integral part of each Tour. Meals are always

            authentic, flavoursome and seasonal - we will be dining in selected special restaurants in major cities and also

            enjoy regional specialities whilst staying in our villa in Tuscany.    Breakfasts in the Villa are determined by

            your choice of  ingredients before you leave home - supplies will be waiting in each villa of your particular

            preferences for breakfast.   You will note that we are happy to cater for vegetarians and if you have specific

            dietary needs we will do our best to accommodate you.

        How Fit Do I Have to Be?

            All the Tours involve walking for about two to three hours daily on very uneven surfaces.  In addition there

            are opportunities to participate in rural walks of between three to four hours and coastal walks of six to seven

            hours.     For those who do not feel they can cope with the city walking regime, taxis will be arranged to transfer

            you to major sites to meet the group AT YOUR EXPENSE.   Once you decide to join our Tour, you will be

            sent details of a suggested Fitness Regime to prepare you for the types of activity you will experience.

        What Should I Pack?

            All porterage of your luggage is included in your costings, however we do recommend you pack as

            lightly as possible.   All of our activities are casual, however there are a few occasions when very smart

            casual evening wear would be appropriate - after a few weeks, we all like to dress up a little, and a number

            of the Restaurants give us this opportunity.    (Absolutely no glitter required though!)

            There is plenty of time for shopping if that's what you like, so leave room in your suitcase for those special

            purchases.    We find the philosophy of layers of clothing works the best in the mid seasons - we occasionally

            experience light showers, so a lightweight raincover is most appropriate.   Days are usually warm, but can

            be cooler in the evening, particularly in the Tuscan Hills and over on the coast of the Cinque Terre.

 

        What Should I Expect to Pay For During the Tour?

 

            The Tours are very inclusive, however some meals are independent - this is to avoid the perennial complaint

            of  "too much food" - the odd evening meal back in your own villa, or hotel room is sometimes a welcome

            respite after a very long day sightseeing.  

            All inclusive meals - i.e. all breakfasts and  dinners which include open bar pre-dinner drinks and wine and  

            coffee with meals.    We have two theme lunches included (12 day Tour of Tuscany only) , but other lunches are

            light and easy.   Most ladies do not  like to sit at a restaurant three times a day, so this way you can decide if you

            want to wander with a sandwich or gelati or sit and relax.   The tour escort will assist with daily decisions of midday

            dining options and will always take a rest with those who wish to stop.   We do have very full days and the local        

            tradition of siesta from 1.00 p.m to 3.00 p.m. quite often means we need to also take the break.

           

            The only other costs that you may have will be your own personal shopping, extra entry fees over and above those

            included in the itinerary and hotel services such as room service, laundry etc.   All tipping to guides, waiters, drivers

            etc are included in the inclusive itinerary  (see sample itinerary inclusions).

        After I Send in My Deposit, When Will I Receive More Information?

            A registration packet with more details regarding itinerary, hotels etc will be mailed to you after receipt of your

            deposit.    Expect to receive your final documents, two to three weeks prior to departure.   

 

        What Date is the Deadline for Registration?

 

            There is not a set deadline for any tour registration, however as the tour is limited to only 10 participants

            including the tour escort, once it is sold out, registrants will be placed on a waiting list.   Send in your

            application form as soon as possible.   Deposits being held on a waiting list are fully refundable.

 

        What are the Cancellation Charges if I am Unable to Travel?

 

            We strongly recommend that you take out private travel insurance as soon as you pay your deposit.
